Earlier this year, Elesa+Ganter introduced standard parts with increased clamping force for applications requiring fast and secure manual fastening. The product family is now being expanded with the new quick release star knobs GN 6336.9.
Fast Clamping with Minimal Adjustment Time
The new standard part combines two key advantages in a single solution: rapid clamping and releasing in less than one full turn, together with increased clamping force for secure fastening.
Thanks to threaded segments activated at the push of a button, the screw shaft can be inserted quickly and easily into the threaded hole. Tightening requires no more than a single turn by hand, significantly reducing setup and adjustment times in applications involving frequent repositioning or repeated clamping operations, as illustrated in the application example.
Like the existing products in the range, GN 6336.9 is designed for applications where speed, reliability, and ergonomic operation are essential. Typical uses include fixture construction, positioning systems, machine setups, and format adjustments.

The quick release star knobs are available in thread sizes M8, M10, and M12, each offered with three standard shaft lengths.
