The clamping bores of the two-way connector clamps GN 131.4 are designed for typical construction tubes. The square sections s1 and s2 also allow bars or tubes with a square cross-section to be clamped.
Clamping at screw point z1 is performed radially on the surface of the profiles used. At the screw location z2, socket cap screws reduce the bore cross-section for clamping. The split clamping point z2 allows the connector clamp to be subsequently inserted into an existing structure and facilitates assembly when axial sliding is not possible, e.g., due to tight bending radii.
